Villa Halcyon Days

Welcome to our beautiful Kefalonian villa Alkyonides (Αλκυονίδες). Which translates in English to Halcyon Days.

Villa Halcyon Days is suitably secluded and private and yet is only a two minute walk from the beautiful local village of Vlachata and 25 minutes from the island's airport. The villa itself comprises of its own private pool, extensive terraces and large barbecue area, nestling among olive, fig and almond trees and is a short distance to the renowned beach of Lourdas, which has many traditional beachfront tavernas. It has magnificent views across the Ionian Sea and also to the adjacent island of Zakynthos (Zante).

It consists of 6 double bedrooms, of which 2 are en-suite, and the other 4 bedrooms are served by 2 family bathrooms complete with bath and shower. All rooms are fitted with dedicated air conditioning and wireless internet access is also available in and around the villa. The villa contains a very well equipped large kitchen featuring all modern appliances and is ideally suited for large families.

There is a large open plan lounge on the first floor, which then leads on to a balcony area where you can relax in peace and watch the stunning sunsets.

The village of Vlachata has a variety of shops, tavernas, restaurants, supermarkets, bars and car hire yet is only 20 minutes from the island capital of Argostoli.
